The ENT Division's Mid-Career Consortium (MCC) targets entrepreneurship scholars who are midway through their careers (i.e., have received tenure). The objective is to assist them in actively planning and managing their next career stage.
The MCC will take place in a highly interactive format with roundtable and panel discussions where mid-career scholars can benefit from lively exchange with senior scholars:
- Kimberly Eddleston (Northeastern University), Per Davidsson (QUT), Dimo Dimov (University of Bath), Lou Marino (University of Alabama), and Vangelis Souitaris (Bayes Business School/ University of St.Gallen) will join the MCC as senior scholars.
- Topics will center around promotion, career opportunities and directions (e.g., academic leadership, editorships), research output strategies (e.g., maximizing output while getting out of the post-tenure rut), teaching and executive education strategies, securing grants, and service and engagement opportunities.
- The MCC will take place on Saturday, August 5, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, in room 303 in the Hynes Convention Center. The session number in the AOM online program is 336.
Participation is free of charge. To sign up, please send a short email to philipp.sieger@unibe.ch and miriam.bird@tum.de. Please indicate your specific topics of interest and specific questions you would like to ask.
We are looking forward to welcoming you at the MCC!
Best regards,
