Description: This Doctoral Research Development Workshop (DRDW) is designed as an idea-, paper-, and dissertation-development feedback meeting for PhD students interested in technology, innovation, creativity, product development, and related topics. Students may be at any stage of a PhD program, and similarly, the ideas brought to the workshop can range from initial ideas of a paper or dissertation to ideas stemming from a fully developed paper. The workshop will consist of a panel discussion of what makes quality research, as well as extensive time dedicated to round table conversations about submitted research ideas from doctoral students.
(We will provide breakfast and lunch.)
Faculty mentors: Mentors include senior scholars whose research focuses on TIM areas (full confirmed list of mentors and mentor-partnerships will be circulated close to the event). Senior mentors include Dan Elfenbeim – Washington University, Kristina Dahlin – Copenhagen Business School, Markus Simeth – Copenhagen Business School, Neus Palomeras – Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Rembrand Koning – Harvard Business School. Junior mentors/facilitators include Amisha Miller - New York University, Giacomo Marchesini – Copenhagen Business School, and Xiaoli Tang – Università Bocconi.
