Ivey Business School in partnership with the Journal of Business Venturing, and supported by the Morrissette Institute for Entrepreneurship, are thrilled to formally announce the Canadian Entrepreneurship Research Conference in London, Ontario, Canada; May 28th-30th (May 31st, if needed).
This is a conference for anyone interested in participating in, supporting, fostering, and learning from the Canadian entrepreneurship research ecosystem, whether you are Canadian, Canada-based, or not, we are a big tent conference and encourage a diverse audience representing the full range of entrepreneurship-related research interests.
The conference has the following structure:
May 28th - PhD Consortium (capacity capped)
May 29th - Full Conference Opens
May 30th - Day 2
-Research Presentations
May 31st - (If needed, with high registrations only)
-Research Presentations
Attendees are required to present an original piece of research at ANY stage, from ideation to ready for publication. Presentations will take the form of both posters and interactive presentations. All research submissions (an abstract is required at registration) will be accepted, however presentation form will be determined by the conference committee. Admittance to the doctoral consortium will be based on capacity, PhD stage, and the abstract.
We have structured this to be an efficient conference. Registration is CAD $200/~USD$150/~Euro 125 (+ 13% sales tax), with a discounted student rate CAD $50/~USD$38/~Euro 30 (+ 13% sales tax), which covers lunches, breaks, and the Conference Dinner. Registration will open within the next week.
ABOUT IVEY: Ivey Business School, located at Western University, is a top Canadian business school, with primary foci of case-based teaching and academic research. ABOUT LONDON: London, dubbed the Forest City, has 500K residents and is located halfway between Detroit Michigan and Toronto Ontario (both cities with excellent airport hubs and good access to London). It can be accessed easily via road and rail, and there is an airport with limited service from Toronto and Calgary. London has a vibrant cultural seen, beautiful ravines, parks and walking trails, and is conveniently located to Stratford Ontario, home of the Stratford Theatre Festival.
