🏆 HEIZER AWARD: The Heizer Award highlights research on the founding, financing, management, growth, and development of high potential new ventures (even small, high-tech ventures), with venture capital investing, or with corporate entrepreneurship. Dissertations dealing primarily with small business, family business, minority business, or support systems are not appropriate for the Award

🏆NFIB AWARD: The NFIB Award targets research on the founding, management, growth, and development of new ventures, such as small businesses, family businesses, and minority businesses, and the support systems (other than venture capital) that facilitate their development. The Award does not target dissertations dealing primarily with high-growth, high-impact ventures.
