    Manuscripts are now being accepted for the upcoming special issue of Small Business Economics: An Entrepreneurship Journal (AJG 3, ABDC A) on "From Founder to Employee: Rethinking Entrepreneurial Career Transitions."

    The SI is open to contributions that rigorously address important and understudied issues related to entrepreneurial founder transitions to organizational employment.     The deadline for submissions is June 30, 2025. Please review and adhere to author guidelines in preparing manuscripts, and follow the below prompts to submit them:

    1. Visit the SBEJ Submission Site at https://www.editorialmanager.com/sbej. Click or tap if you trust this link." data-auth="NotApplicable" rel="noopener">https://www.editorialmanager.com/sbej

    2. Create an account or login as an author. 

    3. Click on "Submit New Manuscript"

    4. Select Article Type: "Original Research" from drop-down menu and click proceed

    5. Upload a copy of author-blind manuscript / Title Page / Other supporting documents

    6.  On the "Additional Information" tab, one of the questions that need to be answered is "Has this manuscript been invited for a Special issue?" Please select yes and you will be prompted with a drop down menu to select the specific SI. Here, select "SI: From Founder to Employee." This should ensure that your manuscript gets routed to the appropriate editorial team.
