9th INSEAD Network Evolution Conference (NEC)

The 9th INSEAD Network Evolution Conference will bring together leading scholars for a selective, feedback-intensive forum focused on advancing research on organizational and social networks. This two-day conference is designed to foster deep intellectual exchange and to help shape future directions in network research.
Keynote Speakers
We are delighted to announce Brian Uzzi and Sharique Hasan as keynote speakers for NEC 2026.
Conference Scope & Special Themes
We welcome high-quality submissions on network research broadly defined, spanning:
Micro-level networks (e.g., individuals, employees)
Macro-level networks (e.g., firms, industries)
In addition, this year we will feature dedicated sessions on:
Complexity & the Science of Science
Network Field Experiments
Submissions aligned with these dedicated sessions are especially encouraged, though all network papers are welcome.
Conference Format
NEC is a small, selective conference (approximately 30 papers) designed to ensure that all participants receive substantive, high-quality feedback from peers and senior scholars in the field.

Logistics
There is no conference attendance fee
Participants are expected to cover their own travel and lodging in Fontainebleau
