The 3rd edition of the "Behavioral Perspectives" Workshop will take place in Barcelona on February
13th, 2026. The workshop, which is co-organized by Bocconi University, Copenhagen Business
School (CBS), and University of Southern Denmark (SDU), aims at stimulating a conversation on how
scholars can leverage behavioral insights to understand the functioning of firms. This year's focus
will be on sustainability.
The event will take place at The Institute for Catalan Studies (IEC) on February 13, 2026.
We expect to have a mix of scholars from economics, management, and psychology, and we are
seeking high-quality submissions employing diverse theoretical perspectives and methods. In
particular, we welcome submissions that deal with these topics:
- Preferences and objectives of corporate owners
- Social entrepreneurship
- Adoption and evolution of sustainability practices within firms
- Drivers of sustainable behaviors at the individual and firm level
- Field/lab experiments in sustainability
- ESG and impact investing
The workshop will feature the keynote of three renowned scholars who will provide a different perspective on the topic: Ruth Aguilera (Northeastern University), Uri Gneezy (University of California, San Diego), and Maurizio Zollo (Imperial College London).
The submission deadline is September 1, 2025. You can submit a full paper or an extended abstract
(max 5 pages).
