    LECTURER POSITION IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND CORPORATE INNOVATION

    Hankamer School of Business

     

    The Department of Entrepreneurship and Corporate Innovation at Baylor University invites applications and nominations for a Lecturer position (non-tenure-track). Interested applicants with a strong record of teaching in the area of entrepreneurship and corporate innovation are encouraged to submit their materials. The successful candidate will begin employment in August 2026.

     

    We are open to all teaching specializations in entrepreneurship and innovation including the startup process, technology entrepreneurship, new venture finance, social entrepreneurship, family business, global new ventures, corporate entrepreneurship, social venturing, and technology commercialization. The ability to teach strategic management at the undergraduate or MBA level is a plus. There is no formal research requirement but the department pro-vides financial and other support for research and professional development activities for all faculty.

     

    Candidates should possess a Doctoral or Master's degree in entrepreneurship or a related field. The ideal candidate will also have practical experience in entrepreneurship or innovation. Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Candidates must have significant teaching accomplishments in entrepreneurship or a related field. Publications in peer-reviewed journals in accordance with AACSB's Scholarly Academic qualification are desirable, but not required.

     

    About the Department: Entrepreneurship has been a part of the Baylor undergraduate curriculum since 1977. Publications such as U.S. News and World Report and Princeton Re-view consistently recognize Baylor Entrepreneurship in their rankings of top programs. The Department of Entrepreneurship is in the state-of-the-art Paul L. Foster Campus for Business and Innovation. The department provides a collegial work environment with supportive colleagues who are leaders in the field of entrepreneurship. The department offers an undergraduate degree, master's certificate, and a Ph.D. in entrepreneurship. Department faculty are leaders in the academic and professional entrepreneurship communities.     The Department of Entrepreneurship also features one of the first entrepreneurship centers in the United States. In support of these efforts, department faculty contribute to this area through research, teaching, and informing public policy in ways that align with faculty research interest and expertise. Baylor's Free Enterprise Initiative promotes re-search, teaching, and outreach on public policy toward entrepreneurship.
