Associate Professor/Professor, Director of Miller School of Entrepreneurship and J. Fielding Miller Distinguished Professorship

The successful candidate will be expected to lead the Miller School of Entrepreneurship https://business.ecu.edu/msoe/. This innovative leader will have oversight for the BS in Entrepreneurship degree and Entrepreneurship Certificate programs, as well as multiple co-curricular programs. Additional duties include teaching (1/1 load), managing Miller School of Entrepreneurship faculty and staff, student recruitment, fundraising and donor relations, strategic planning and budgeting, communications and branding, and other duties necessary to lead a successful and vibrant entrepreneurship school. In addition, the Director will have oversight for the Crisp Small Business Resource Center and Isley Innovation Hub, a 15,000 square feet campus wide innovation space. The Miller School of Entrepreneurship Director serves as chair of the Isley Operating Committee.
The successful candidate will receive a twelve-month faculty appointment at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor (tenure-track) in the Department of Management within in the College of Business. The Director will also be the recipient of the J. Fielding Miller Distinguished Professorship. The responsibilities of this professorship are focused on providing highly effective leadership and fulfilling the strategic goals of the Miller School of Entrepreneurship.
