Assistant Professor in the Management & Human Resources Department at the Wisconsin School of Business, University of Wisconsin-Madison
The MHR Department in the Wisconsin School of Business at UW-Madison is searching for a tenure-track faculty member in management to start in Fall 2025. This search is focused especially on Entrepreneurship or Entrepreneurship/Strategy scholars. Discipline-oriented candidates who wish to build a career contributing to business scholarship are encouraged to apply. Our needs are more focused on junior candidates. Salary and benefits for the position are competitive and based on applicant qualifications and experience.
Candidates are expected to produce high-quality, high-impact research. Teaching excellence is also expected in as broad a range of programs as possible. We currently offer full-time undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. degrees, as well as part-time MBA and executive education programs geared toward working professionals. The ability to make important external and internal service contributions is also a key criterion. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or be firmly on track to complete their Ph.D. by August 2025.

The Wisconsin School of Business received a unique $100 million "naming" gift from a group of dedicated alumni. This provides strong support to enhance recruiting, retaining, and facilitating the success of a world-class faculty. The School is housed in Grainger Hall, a state-of-the-art facility.
