The Department of Management at Florida State University's College of Business is excited to announce an opening for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in Strategy, beginning August 2026.
We're seeking talented individuals with a passion for conducting impactful scholarly research and a commitment to teaching excellence. Our department offers undergraduate courses in strategy, business and society, and competitive dynamics, along with graduate-level courses in our highly respected MBA and Ph.D. programs. Teaching is primarily face-to-face, with select online offerings.
FSU's College of Business is recognized nationally, consistently ranked among the top 25 public institutions by U.S. News & World Report. Our Management faculty publish regularly in premier journals such as Administrative Science Quarterly, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, and Journal of Management Studies. Our Ph.D. program is renowned for placing graduates at respected institutions such as Michigan State University, Auburn University, and the University of Alabama, among many others.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. in Strategy or related area by Summer 2026.

Evidence of scholarly publications and active research.

Preferred teaching experience in both traditional and online formats.
