Are you interested in crowdfunding research? We invite you to the "Crowdfunding Research: Theoretical, Empirical, and Geographical Perspectives" PDW at AOM.
Purpose
Our aim is to advance theoretical, empirical, and geographical integration in crowdfunding research. The PDW brings together leading experts on applicable theoretical lenses and empirical approaches. We trust the session will offer participants inspiration and momentum for advancing high-quality theoretical and empirical contributions to crowdfunding research.

Part 1: Lightning talks (incl. Q&A)

- Examining how crowdfunding improves access to funding for nontraditional entrepreneurs using field experiments (Martin Ganco)
- Large Language Models and crowdfunding: Some potential frontiers (Ethan Mollick)
- Sustainability and crowdfunding (Anna Lukkarinen)
Part 2: Panel discussion
- Our panelists discuss the current state and future opportunities of crowdfunding research. Organizers moderate. The audience is invited to engage.
Part 3: Revolving roundtables
- Participants can discuss their own crowdfunding-related research and ideas with the panelists. Our aim is that participants receive impactful and actionable feedback. Revolving roundtables will ensure participants can engage with all panelists.
