Hello everyone,
We're delighted to announce the 5th AIS SIG DITE Paper Development Workshop, hosted this year at the University of Hamburg Business School. The workshop, will take place on September 25-26, 2025 and seeks to bring together early-career researchers with experienced mentors to develop their research in a friendly and collegial environment. If your research focuses digital innovation, transformation, or entrepreneurship-in the broadest possible sense-we invite you to submit your work and spend two exciting days refining ideas, receiving mentor feedback, and networking with peers from around the globe. The submission deadline for an extended abstract is June 30, 2025.
Over the years, we've workshopped more than 60 papers, with several ending up in top tier outlets. The event is designed to give you plenty of time to workshopping and discussing your papers with phenomenal mentors, networking with your peers, and meeting the thought leaders in our field. We also have prepared several other activities such as keynotes and panels to make sure this will be a rewarding experience for you. As always, the event will be free of charge for participants.
The workshop does not require copyright transfer or publish proceedings, meaning you can submit your ICIS, AMCIS, ECIS, or AOM papers for further development en route to a journal submission. This is also a great opportunity for your working and rejected papers that you want to turn around.
Confirmed mentors include Youngjin Yoo, Lisen Selander, Ola Henfridsson, Mari-Klara Stein, Lauri Wessel, Jonny Holmström, Hans Berends, Markus Weinmann, Lauren Waardenburg, Tina Blegind Jensen, Maha Shaikh, Philipp Hukal, Joey van Angeren, Kathryn Brohman, Ph.D., and Jan Recker
For more details, please do not hesitate to reach out. For more details and information about the submission process, please refer to this website: https://www.bwl.uni-hamburg.de/en/isdi/pdw-2025.html.
We look forward to welcoming you in Hamburg!
Best regrads,
