Dear Entrepreneurship Community,
We only have 5 spots left for the Health in Entrepreneurship Conference – please email Tim Michaelis (tmichaelis@niu.edu) if you are interested in attending. An agenda of the conference is attached to see all speakers and sessions.
The 2nd annual conference dedicated to scholarly work on topics related to health and entrepreneurship will be this October (13th and 14th) in Chicago, IL. The conference is designed to be a small research forum (capped at 50 people) where researchers can share their work in more detail with like-minded scholars and to foster collaborations for disseminating high quality research related to health in the process of new venture creation. We will have one panel consisting of entrepreneurs to candidly discuss how we can advance work related to health in entrepreneurship.
The Health in Entrepreneurship Conference will be hosted in downtown Chicago, IL, at MATTER (https://matter.health/), a healthcare accelerator and incubator and at DePaul’s Coleman Center for Entrepreneurship (https://business.depaul.edu/about/centers-institutes/coleman-entrepreneurship-center/).

October is an amazing month to visit Chicago. We have great food planned for the event, a social event on Day 1, and plenty of recommendations to enjoy the city once the conference ends on Saturday. We (Jon, Maija, and I) are looking forward to spending time with everyone in the Windy City!
All the best,
Tim
Note. Full Vaccination for COVID-19 is required for this event (i.e., following CDC guidelines) and you will have to show proof of vaccination (register prior or upon arrival) to enter the MATTER event space.
