Hi everyone:

The 2025 West Coast Research Symposium (WCRS) will be hosted by the University of Washington in Seattle from September 11-12. The doctoral consortium will be held on the afternoon prior to the conference on September 10.

The doctoral consortium is a great opportunity to engage with faculty from the sponsoring institutions (Stanford University, University of Alberta, University of California-Santa Barbara, University of Oregon, University of Southern California, and University of Washington) and others, and receive feedback from these scholars on your research in anticipation of the job market.

This year, the doctoral consortium will focus on students in the later stages of their PhD programs preparing for the job market. If you plan to be on the job market in Fall 2025 or 2026, and are interested in attending the 2025 WCRS Doctoral Consortium, please indicate your interest by completing the following survey questions by 5pm PST on Friday, August 15th:
