Call for Applications:
ENT Late Career Consortium 2025
Date: Saturday, July 26, 2025, 1-4 pm
Location: Copenhagen Business School Kilen-K146
Application Deadline: July 19, 2025
Who Should Apply: The Late Career Consortium (LCC) is open to AOM members from all Divisions whose terminal degree was awarded 15 or more years ago. It is intended for members who are past their Mid-Career Consortium days.
Description: The Late Career Consortium focuses on the career and life questions of late-career faculty (defined as 15 years or more since completing PhD). The aim of the session is to help scholars in any discipline manage the new demands of this career stage and to take advantage of the various opportunities and career transitions that arise.
This year's consortium will focus on the various opportunities that colleagues have that build on the skills and knowledge that they have developed over their careers. These can be within university structures, such as becoming a head of a department or a dean of a businesses, or outside academia, such as investing in start-ups and designing public policy. As ever, attendees are free to raise any issues that they would like advice on. The panelists and other attendees will have a wealth of experience and a range of perspectives, enabling them to offer sage and actionable advice.
As one of the few consortia of its type, it is open to attendees from all AOM Divisions and will run for 180 minutes. Pre-registration is required. LCC attendees are also invited to attend (for free) the Entrepreneurship Division's Cross-Consortium Social on Friday evening. This will give LCC members a chance to meet and share insights with a broad range of Entrepreneurship Division faculty and doctoral students. To get an accurate count, LCC prospects need to fill out the application form before the deadline.
