    Hello everyone,

The Stephenson Department of Entrepreneurship and Information Systems (SDEIS) in the E.J. Ourso College of Business at Louisiana State University has two entrepreneurship positions available.  Details for each are below:

    Assistant Professor of Entrepreneurship

Responsibilities for both positions include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in entrepreneurship as well as publishing high quality research on entrepreneurship topics in top-tier journals.  In addition, the Professor/Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship is to play a leading role in developing and delivering research, education, and outreach agendas in entrepreneurship.

The SDEIS offers myriad entrepreneurship programs including a bachelor of entrepreneurship degree, entrepreneurship minor, and Fellows Program.

     *   The bachelor of entrepreneurship is a 120-hour program and must be paired with another bachelor's degree from any college on campus (e.g., engineering, mass communications, or music) as part of a paired-degree earning a minimum of 150 hours.
     *   The minor is open to any LSU student and builds upon the core business curriculum by providing students with focused coursework needed for starting, owning, and/or growing a business.
     *   The multi-disciplinary Entrepreneurship Fellows Program<https://business.lsu.edu/Stephenson-Entrepreneurship-Institute/fellows/Pages/Entrepreneurship-Fellows-Program.aspx> is a year-long program designed to encourage business and entrepreneurial practices in a select group of graduate or undergraduate students from across the university by providing students with the opportunity to network with and be mentored by top executives.
     *   As part of these programs, the SDEIS offers courses including innovation, business planning, technology commercialization, as well as a cutting edge topics course in digital entrepreneurship.

Additional campus resources include a Student Incubator, a $25,000 Venture Challenge business plan competition, a student I-Corps program, and opportunities for involvement in the entrepreneurial ecosystem through events such as Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week (BREW).
