  • 1.  Call for ETP Special Issue Proposals

    Posted 12-20-2017 13:51
Broaden the range of scholars publishing in ETP.

Focus on an important topic that has not received adequate attention in the entrepreneurship literature.

Include a process to enhance paper quality (e.g., paper development workshops).

Special issue proposals should include the following information.

An overview of the topic covered by the proposal.

Motivation as to why a special issue is needed on the topic and why ETP is a suitable outlet.

Names and affiliations of the guest editors, including their prior experience pertaining to the topic and journal editing. A regular ETP editor must be included among the guest editors. See the website for a list of current ETP editors.

A list of activities and events planned in order to ensure that the special issue is successful, as well as a detailed timeline for the special issue, including the timing of these activities and events.

A draft of the call for papers which should include the names, affiliations, and contact information of the guest editors, a description of the topic of the special issue, the motivation for the special issue, a sample list of research topics pertinent to the topic of the special issue, and the timeline for submissions and any special activities or events proposed.

    Please note the following:

Guest editors are expected to write an introduction to the special issue, but can't publish any other articles in the special issue

All special issues must include an open call for papers. Thus, special issues can't be by invitation only.

Please submit your proposal to etp@syr.edu with "ETP Special Issue Proposal" as the subject.

Please don't hesitate to contact me should you have any questions.
