    Dear Colleagues,

    CSSI 2018 Symposium - 6th Biennial Cross-Sector Social Interactions Symposium

    Theme: "Collaborative Societal Governance:  Orchestrating Cross-Sector Social Partnerships for Social Welfare"

    Call for Panel Proposals
    In relation to the 6th International CSSI Symposium, we now cordially invite researchers to submit Panel Proposals. All panel proposals will be evaluated in terms of their contribution both to our research community and to the coherence of the Symposium programme. Chairs of panels selected for the CSSI 2018 Symposium will subsequently be invited to circulate a 'call for papers' for their panel, both through the symposium website and their own networks.

    Panel proposals should address either the conference theme or another key issue in theory and knowledge in Cross-Sector Collaboration Research. Collaborative proposals are particularly welcome with two or three co-chairs.

    For those panels accepted for the CSSI Symposium, it is the responsibility of Panel Chair(s) to:

    - solicit abstracts and review them in line with the Symposium guidelines and deadlines;
    - notify the Conference Chair of the acceptance and rejection of papers in a timely manner;
    - provide adequate feedback to be forwarded to authors;
    - plan the arrangement of papers in their panel track with the Organising Committee;
    - provide a nomination from their panel for the best paper;
    - ensure chairing and moderation of panel sessions at the CSSI 2018 Symposium;
    - at the conclusion of the Conference, complete a brief evaluation.

    Please note that in the case of similar or overlapping panel submissions, the Organising Committee may ask panel chairs to collaborate in leading consolidated panels to ensure the overall coherence of the symposium.

    Submission of Panel Proposals
    All panel proposals should include the title of the panel, the name(s) and affiliation(s) of the chair(s) and a contact email, a description of the panel topic, and an explanation of its contribution to the field of Cross-Sector Collaboration Research.  Please also indicate in which of the below categories your panel proposal is being submitted:

    I - Panels Related to the CSSI Symposium Theme (for this year's theme please see website)
    II - Special Interest Groups (e.g. advances in CSSI methodology)
    III - Open Conference Panels on all types of CSSI (not just partnerships)

    Proposals should be in 12-point Times Roman font. They must not exceed one page. Longer proposals will be rejected. Note that the conference language is English and that all Panel proposals (and subsequent papers) must be in English.

    Panel proposals must be submitted to the Symposium Organiser (ergp.msc@cbs.dk) no later than 17.00 (BST) on Monday 11th December 2017. For the full call for papers please visit: http://www.cssicommunity.org/cssi-symposia-series
