Entrepreneurship/Strategic Management: Assistant Professor University of Richmond
The Management Department at the University of Richmond Robins School of Business invites applications for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Entrepreneurship/Strategic Management, to begin Fall 2018. A Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or Strategic Management or a closely related field is required. Preference will be given to candidates with business experience. Applicants may be ABD, but must have completed the Ph.D. by the start date.
The candidate selected will teach undergraduate and MBA courses primarily in Entrepreneurship, and potentially in Strategic Management, as well. Tenure-track faculty members typically teach five courses per year with an average class size of about 25 students. Evidence of teaching excellence is very important. In addition to excellence in the classroom, the faculty member is expected to be committed to excellence in academic research and have a strong record of scholarly achievement evidenced by articles published, forthcoming, or in advanced stages of review at high-quality academic journals.
