    Call for book chapters

     

    Open innovation and entrepreneurship:

    Impetus of growth and competitive advantages

     

    Editors:

    Gadaf Rexhepi (South East European University, Macedonia)

    Robert D. Hisrich (Kent State University, Kent Ohio, USA)

    Veland Ramadani (South East European University, Macedonia)

     

    This book aims to enrich the theoretical views and empirical evidence about open innovation and entrepreneurship as ways to help entrepreneurial businesses grow and create competitive advantage. It will treat the essential issues of open innovation and entrepreneurship such as open innovation, open innovation and enterprise growth, creating competitive advantage through open innovation, strategies to use open innovation, implementation of open innovation, open innovation models and strategies, etc.

    The book will focus on research dealing with the following issues:

    • Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Literature Review
    • Benefits of Entrepreneurs from Open Innovation 
    • Managing Open Innovation in Entrepreneurial Business
    • Open Innovation and Enterprise Growth
    • Creating Competitive Advantage for Entrepreneurial Business Through Open Innovation
    • Strategies for Successful Implementation of Open Innovation in Entrepreneurial Businesses
    • Trends, Motives, and Challenges of Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship
    • Strategies for Increasing the Role of Open Innovation in Creating Competitive Advantage
    • Organizational Culture and The Use of Open and Closed Innovation
    • Business Start-Ups and Open Innovation
    • Managing the Transition
    • Open Innovation Models and Strategy
    • Open Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Cases
    • Open Innovation Current Status and Future Research Opportunities

    The editors intend to bring with this book a significant value to open innovation and entrepreneurship researchers, policy-makers and entrepreneurs. 

    All chapters suitable for publication in this book will be double-blind reviewed, following the publisher's review process guidelines.

        • Up to 4 authors;        7,000-9,500 words

    Timetable:

     

    The book is scheduled to be published in 2018. The following timetable/deadline dates are given for your information:

    • Submission of full chapters: May 15, 2018
    • First feedback from reviewers: June 15, 2018
    • Submission of the revised chapters: July 31, 2018
    • Expected delivery date to the publisher: August 2018
