The Middlebury Institute of International Studies (MIIS) at Monterey invites applications for a two-year Visiting Professor of Social Entrepreneurship.  The position is situated in the MBA in Global Impact Management program, which is in the Graduate School of International Policy and Management.  Social entrepreneurship, social impact of business, impact investing, and novel and hybrid business forms, as well as scholarship and practice related to rethinking relationships between public, for profit, and nonprofit actors lie at the foundation of the policy management school.

As Visiting Professor of Social Entrepreneurship, you will play a leading role in designing, developing and delivering transformational learning experiences for graduate students who wish to pursue careers in entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, and the social impact of business.  MIIS offers a highly collaborative teaching and learning environment, and you will co-create this portfolio with professors from many of our other degree programs.  MIIS has a strong emphasis on hands-on, active, and problem-based pedagogies, and the right candidate will relish pedagogical creativity and innovation.  Graduate students at MIIS are highly mission driven and chose us because they seek a collaborative community that builds their skills in solving intractable social, political, economic, and cultural problems.
