    Family Business Education Day: New Thoughts, New Thinkers
    A one-day symposium on family business education - 10 October 2010
    To be held @ Family Firm Institute's Annual Conference
    in Chicago

    Aim: The overarching aim of this FB symposium is to highlight pedagogical innovations in FB Education that have been developed, tested, and refined in classrooms, and in the field, around the globe.

    Submissions: We invite proposals (300 word abstracts) that share innovative educational practices in use today. Our discussions will cover all levels of family business teaching and learning: undergraduate, graduate, master's, doctoral, executive, and continuing education. We encourage proposals from across the spectrum. Especially welcome are proposals focused on ideas that will continue to address the changing pedagogical logic in family business education and launch delegates into a new thinking frame. All established program developers, teachers, and thought-provoking management educators are invited to share insights on new themes emerging in family enterprise education.
