    > **Sustainable development has emerged as a controversial yet
    > influential concept for management. Entrepreneurship has been
    > recognized as a significant conduit for sustainable products and
    > processes, and some even hold it up as a panacea for many social and
    > environmental concerns. Yet, there remains considerable uncertainty
    > regarding the nature of this role and its’ unfolding. This special
    > issue will bring together various elements of entrepreneurial research
    > with the aim of further illuminating this vital societal role. This
    > special issue Call is seeking high quality conceptual and empirical
    > submissions that explore the opportunities, threats and unique
    > characteristics that exist in this emerging sustainable
    > development-entrepreneurship inter-relationship. We encourage broad
    > and far ranging explorations that will extend our understanding of how
    > entrepreneurs can address a variety of energy, environmental, and
