Open Rank Faculty Position in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management
The Faculty of Economics of the Università della Svizzera italiana in Lugano (Switzerland) invites applications for a Full, Associate or tenure track-Assistant Professor post from candidates with research interests in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.
Profile
All areas of research within Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management will be considered. The ideal candidate would demonstrate the ability to conduct high quality research and teach in a multi-cultural environment. The new professor will be part of the Institute of Management and Organization, and is expected to contribute to undergraduate, master, and PhD programs, as well as to supervise doctoral students. We are looking for ambitious candidates who can publish in top-tier journals.
Teaching Load
The teaching load for Full or Associate Professors is 3 semester courses annually; for Assistant Professors it is 1.5 semester course annually.
Residence
Professors reside in Ticino, which is part of the Italian-speaking area of Switzerland. The new professor is expected to provide consistent participation in the academic activities of the university.
Salary and contract
The salary is within a range established by University regulations. The exact amount will be defined depending on experience and academic qualifications.
