    The Department of Management at the University of Texas Arlington is inviting applications for an Endowed Chair in Entrepreneurship.  We seek an individual with a distinguished scholarly research record and a renowned reputation in the field of entrepreneurship.  Candidates will have an earned doctorate, a sustained record of publishing in top management journals, and proven teaching excellence at all levels.  We expect the Chair to mentor PhD students and junior faculty, and to develop a broad-based entrepreneurship curriculum that engages multiple parts of the university. While the focus of the Chair will be primarily academic, the Chair will engage in institution-building by collaborating with organizations and individuals both within and outside the university.  The candidate should be an active researcher and a team player willing to build relationships with faculty, students, administration and the university community. Successful candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to diversity and equity in education through their scholarship, teaching, and/or service. 

    Our department is research active with recent publications in top-tier management outlets including the Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Journal of Applied Psychology, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, and Journal of Business Venturing. We hold current editorial board appointments at journals including Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, Journal of Management, Journal of Organizational Behavior, Human Resource Management, and Journal of Vocational Behavior.

    The College of Business at UTA is AACSB accredited and offers a very supportive environment for research with salary, research support, and teaching loads competitive with other major research universities.  The College of Business offers several masters programs, MBAs, and a PhD in Business Administration. It also operates one of the largest EMBA programs in China. Our PhD program allows opportunities to work with talented and motivated students. In addition to a number of undergraduate courses the department also offers an MS in Human Resource Management which provides a variety of teaching options.
