Area of Management
Texas Tech University, Rawls College of Business seeks candidates for an Assistant/Associate/Full
Professor of Practice (open rank) in the Area of Management, beginning Fall 2018. The individual's
primary teaching assignments will be six undergraduate and/or graduate courses per academic year.
Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience and effectiveness in teaching management
courses, such as general management, human resource management, organizational behavior,
leadership, strategy, entrepreneurship, ethics, or related areas. Qualified applicants must have a
doctorate in management or a related discipline, and shall maintain currency as academically
qualified under the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International
standards. Candidates who have very strong records of scholarship supported by extramural funding
and who have the proven capacity or clear potential to bring externally sponsored research to Texas
Tech University are encouraged to apply. Service duties include program-building, as well as
commitment to extra-curricular activities. Service to the department, college, and university is
