    Indiana Tech is a thriving, independent, teaching-oriented institution with a focus on career/professional programs. Indiana Tech enrolls approximately 1,500 students in its traditional programs on its main campus and over 8,000 students in Professional Studies programs at 15 regional locations and online. Indiana Tech's picturesque main campus is located on 45 acres near downtown Fort Wayne. All academic programs are designed to provide students with relevant and practical experiences, including an emphasis on internships. The university is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools.
    Indiana Tech is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of PhD Admissions Representative. Tenure track academic year position responsible for teaching and supporting the online Ph.D. in Global Leadership program.  Service on doctoral committees.  This position is based at the main campus in Fort Wayne, IN.

    Principal Duties & Responsibilities
    • Teach 8 online courses per academic year. Courses include content areas of global leadership and organizational management, introduction to research, research design.  See the curriculum for more details at indianatech.edu
    • Serve as chair or member of qualifying paper and dissertation committees
    • Develop curriculum and course materials that address professional and scholarly interactions with students
    • Participate in course and program level learning assessments
    • Participate in twice annual Immersion Weekends
    • Maintain an active research agenda including professional presentations and publications
    • Participate in shared campus governance
    Qualifications
    • Doctoral degree in Leadership, Organizational Psychology, Cultural Studies, Communication or relevant field from a regionally accredited institution
    • Previous graduate level online teaching experience
    • Strong academic writing skills
    • Knowledge of Blackboard (or equivalent), Microsoft Office and GoToMeeting preferred
    • Record of academic publications and presentations in the relevant field
    Experience
    • At least 5 years of teaching experience at the graduate (preferably doctoral) level
    • Previous service on research committees, preferably at the doctoral level
    • Evidence of online teaching
