I realize this book won´t appeal to many on here, but maybe a few you would find my latest book interesting. It is called Post-Capitalist Entrepreneurship: Startups for the 99%. It explains why there are so many calls for challenging the capitalist model, but also not satisfied with a return to socialism or communism.
In the book, drawing from insights from my research over the past several years, I dedicate chapters to different types of organizing that seem to be operating outside of the bounds or paradigms of a market-based economy. I have chapters on things like platform cooperatives, blockchain-enabled distributed alternative organizations, alternative and cryptocurrencies, commons-based peer production, etc. I am planning on trying it out in a sustainable entrepreneurship course this spring (while some of the concepts have already been used effectively in my traditional entrepreneurship course).
If any of you do get it and find use for it in your courses, etc. please do let me know!
Sincerely,
Boyd
