Entrepreneurship at OU

Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth, the Center for Economic and Management Research, the Office of Technology Development and the Office of Public-Private Partnerships. Initiatives stemming from these centers of activity reflect the entrepreneurial spirit that is at the core of the OU tradition, and the purpose of the Price College of Business which is to ensure the enduring global competitiveness of Oklahoma and the nation. All this is taking place in a favorable economic climate as suggested by the Kauffmann Foundation Startup activity index which shows that the state of Oklahoma is on a steady upward trend and now ranks #2 in startup activity in the smaller state category (based on population).
