The Faculty of Economics and Management of the Free University of Bolzano/Bozen is seeking excellent candidates to fill the following academic position:
• 1 ASSISTANT PROFESSOR in Entrepreneurship
Profile
The candidate should have a Phd in Management, Economics, Business and Management Engineering, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Technology Management or related fields, with a focus on entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial teams, B2B-Marketing, cooperation and organizational learning.
Position
The position offered is at the Assistant Professor Level (Junior University Researcher) with a focus on Entrepreneurship. This non tenure-track contract is a full-time position for a duration of 3 years.
The position aims at integrating the research topics carried on by the Faculty of Economics and Management on entrepreneurship and innovation. In particular, the successful candidate will be expected to engage leading edge research in entrepreneurship and more precisely on entrepreneurial teams and cooperation. Under the supervision of prof. Christian Lechner, the successful candidate will be academic champion on the topics reported above within the research cluster on entrepreneurship and innovation.
The workload will be predominantly allocated to research and teaching activities. More specifically, the number of hours devoted to teaching activities will be 60 per academic year. The successful candidate should have a demonstrated ability for and commitment to produce quality teaching and research outputs in the area of public management, public-private partnerships, technology transfer and innovation. At least one submission to a well-respected scientific journal in the advertised scientific sector per year of contract is expected.
The minimum teaching load per year is at least 60 hours and no more than 120 hours. Funding is available for research projects and travel to conferences.
The working language of the Faculty of Economics and Management is English but teaching is done also in German and Italian.
The salary is competitive.
