    Dear All,

We would like your input on which articles may be considered CLASSIC in entrepreneurship research. We define CLASSICS as articles published before 2000 that have had a seminal impact on the field and can be expected to continue influencing entrepreneurship research going forward. To understand which articles are considered classics by entrepreneurship scholars, we put together a short survey that should take you about 5-7 minutes to complete. The survey is available here: goo.gl/w4kbMq

In addition to giving you a shortlist of articles that are candidates for classics, we also provide space for you to suggest other articles you may considered CLASSICS in entrepreneurship. The only conditions are that the suggested article should be published before 2000, had a major impact on the field so far, and is likely to be influential going forward. Please note we are interested in your perceptions on CLASSICS, and not what Google Scholar or Web of Science says, so please share your views with us.

As with most research, your responses will be remain confidential, and we will share only aggregate data with others. You are welcome to complete the survey anonymously, but if you want a summary of our findings, you will need to provide a working email address.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact Golshan (golshan.javadian@morgan.edu) or me (vkgupta@cba.ua.edu).

Looking forward to your input on CLASSICS in entrepreneurship research,

    Vishal Gupta
