Making learning real for our students is a constant struggle. When I try to explain customer interviewing and prototyping to my students, I get blank stares, and I'm assuming you do as well.

One way we try to combat this is through competitions. We get students excited about competing and then place them in a simulation that tries to mimic how an entrepreneur turns an idea into a business. These competitions are unrealistic at best.

Welcome to the TrepDays 2017 Student Startup Challenge! Your students can quickly learn and practice realistic ideation, customer interviewing, prototyping and pitching. See how your students stack up against other schools around the globe! The winning school keeps the ahhhh-mazing TrepDays trophy until next year.

A small team of entrepreneurs and educators and I carefully developed each task to teach an important aspect of entrepreneurship, and will grade each deliverable. Your students will earn 4 digital badges, and you can easily incorporate this into your course as assignments - we'll do all the work for you!

TrepDays will take place over a few hours in early October.

Visit our website at http://www.studentstartupchallenge.com/ to learn more and get your students signed up this unique experiential learning opportunity!

Please email me with any questions about this opportunity, and I look forward to having your students participate in TrepDays.
