    Invitation to be a presenter at <st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management</st1:placename> sustainability session, <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:city w:st="on">Anaheim</st1:city></st1:place>, August 2008

     

    Jim Stoner stoner@fordham.edu and I are organizing a knock-your-socks-off PDW session for the <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placetype w:st="on">Academy</st1:placetype> of <st1:placename w:st="on">Management Anaheim</st1:placename></st1:place> meeting.  We tentatively plan to hold this on Saturday August 9, 2008, 3-6 PM, and title it "Management Questions to Transcend Current Global Sustainability Practice".  We would like you to be a presenter for this roundtable format session. (You will be listed on the program as a presenter.)  The concept of this session is to consider all management functions and topics and ask what questions would help us to move managers and organizations further along the sustainability freeway.  That is, looking through the prisms of each of the topical areas of each of the divisions INCLUDING ENTREPRENEURSHIP and interest groups of the Academy, how might sustainability issues refract in suggestive and useful ways. 

     

    Please let us know right away if you will attend, will not attend, or may attend.  If you can or may attend, please send me, the following information for the proposal form, which must be submitted this week:

    1- Your name, as you want it on the program

    2- Your email address

    3- Your institutional affiliation (AOM form is "<st1:place w:st="on"><st1:placename w:st="on">Harvard</st1:placename> <st1:placetype w:st="on">U.</st1:placetype></st1:place>" not "Harvard Business School")

    4- Your snail-mailing address

    5- Your office phone

     

    Although AOM does not need the following information, we would appreciate also:

    1- Your mobile phone number

    2- Your home telephone number

    3- Your homepage

     

    Please enter as a subject for your emails about this: "SUSTAINABILITY PDW".
