The Interface of Global Healthcare and Entrepreneurship: Current and Future State

More recently, for-profit social entrepreneurs and investors are arising in the global health space and filling the gaps that were traditionally filled but NGOs and ministries of health.  This integration of diverse organizations within the same business ecosystem requires a unique lens to facilitate rigorous academic research that is also applicable to practitioners. Scholars from healthcare management, entrepreneurship, organizational theory, and strategic management are invited to explore definitions, theories, the current state, and future directions of this emerging area of study.
