The Department of Management and Organizations at the Stern School of Business, NYU (based in New York) and NYU Shanghai (based in NYU's campus in Shanghai) are seeking to hire tenured or tenure-track faculty.
At our New York campus, we are seeking an assistant or associate level scholar who specializes in strategy. The Management and Organizations Department at Stern is diverse and inter-disciplinary, and has long been recognized for its research and scholarship. It consistently ranks among the top schools in terms of research productivity in leading journals.The Stern School of Business is recognized internationally as one of the world's most prestigious graduate and undergraduate business schools. Located in the heart of Greenwich Village in New York City, Stern has an internationally diverse faculty and student body.
At Shanghai, we are eagerly seeking scholars across areas and levels. NYU Shanghai is the newest degree-granting campus within New York University's global network. It is the first higher education joint venture in China authorized to grant degrees that are accredited in the U.S. as well as in China. All teaching is conducted in English. A research university with liberal arts and science at its core, it resides in one of the world's great cities with a vibrant intellectual community. NYU Shanghai recruits scholars of the highest caliber who are committed to NYU's global vision of transformative teaching and innovative research and who embody the global society in which we live.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. or be assured of its completion during the 2018-19 academic year, and are expected to be outstanding with respect to research and teaching, whether at the undergraduate or graduate levels. The positions are expected to commence in Fall 2018.
