Assistant/Associate Professor –Entrepreneurship, Vacancy 16F-113, Position 6280
The Department of Management in the Cameron School of Business invites applicants for one tenure track position in Entrepreneurship at the Assistant or Associate Professor level beginning August 1, 2018. Successful applicants should be committed to excellence in teaching as well as success in scholarly research, which includes ongoing research suitable for publication in quality peer-reviewed outlets. In addition to normal teaching and research responsibilities, the responsibilities of the position also involve supervising the student business plan competition, coordinating the Cameron School of Business Entrepreneurship Week program, sponsoring the UNCW entrepreneurship club, and regular involvement with activities and programs at the UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship. The ideal candidate will have some personal entrepreneurial experience, and be interested in teaching a variety of entrepreneurship, innovation and management related courses at the undergraduate and Master's level. A Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship or closely related field is required.

Sixty faculty members serve 2,150 business majors, including graduate students in our executive, professional, and international MBA programs, M.S. in Accounting, and M.S. in Computer Information Systems. The Management department serves over 450 undergraduate majors and offers degrees in three areas: Entrepreneurship and Business Development, Human Resource Management, and Management and Leadership.
