    Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor of Management

     

    The Department of Management within the College of Business at Iowa State University invites applications for two tenured or tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in Management with an emphasis in Strategic Management.

     

    These positions will conduct strong scholarly research that has high impact and is publishable in top-tier management journals. In addition, these positions will teach strategy courses at the undergraduate, Master's and/or PhD levels.

     

    The College of Business at Iowa State University, established in 1984, conducts and shares research to educate tomorrow's business leaders so they are prepared to deal with multi-disciplinary, global, technological, ethical and diversity challenges. The college offers undergraduate, graduate and PhD programs and is accredited by The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International). The Department of Management is home to two PhD concentrations in Management and Entrepreneurship. The faculty in the Management Department conduct impactful research that has been published in a wide variety of top journals, including Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Strategic Management Journal, Organization Science, Journal of Management, and Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal. The Iowa Board of Regents also recently gave approval to begin planning for a $22 million dollar addition to the Gerdin Business Building to support the growing student enrollment.     Required Qualifications: PhD in management or a closely related field, by start date; demonstrated ability to establish strong scholarly research and teach at undergraduate, Master's, or PhD levels; meet the college's standards to be qualified as Scholarly Academic under the AACSB accreditation standards.

     

    For consideration to Associate or Full Professor rank, applicants must meet, in addition to the above qualifications, the university standards for appointment to the rank and a strong national and international scholarly reputation.

     

    Preferred Qualifications: Scholarly research record as evidenced by publications in high quality journals; teaching experience at the PhD, or Master's levels; a research record commensurate with years of experience
