The Department of Management & Entrepreneurship in the Coles College of Business at Kennesaw State University is seeking applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the Senior Assistant or Associate Professor level in Entrepreneurship starting in August 2018. This faculty member will support the Robin and Doug Shore Entrepreneurship Center (colescollege.com/ec) as the Research Director for the center and support the new BBA in Entrepreneurship major for the department. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated record of accomplishment in research and high-quality teaching in entrepreneurship and may also be required to teach in a secondary area such as strategic management. Candidates will be expected to engage in quality scholarly activity consistent with AACSB accreditation, demonstrate effective teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and potentially assist with doctoral level students. Candidates will be expected to provide service to the university and wider community. Preferences will be given to candidates that have experience in entrepreneurial ventures in addition to the minimum qualifications listed.
Candidates must have earned a Ph.D/DBA in Business Administration or Management or a related area, or foreign equivalent, or its equivalent in training, ability, and/or experience with an emphasis in entrepreneurship, strategic management or closely related field.
