BEST PRACTICES ON FAMILY BUSINESS AND
ENTREPRENEURSHIP HIGHER EDUCATION
AUGUST 21-22 2008 (University of Jyväskylä, Finland)
Welcome to discuss about the best practices on family business and
entrepreneurship education. The FBE 2008 offers a forum to share
experiences on the doctoral, master, bachelor and private business
training and education. The conference is tailored for the family
business and entrepreneurship teachers, lecturers, professors,
consultants and researchers in higher education.

SUBMISSIONS
Conference proceedings will be published in electronic format after
the
double blind review. Also, an edited book will be published based on
conference results and feedback. All authors have the possibility to
submit the conference paper or presentation to the edition of
Practices
in Family Business and Entrepreneurship Education which will be
published 2009.
We kindly invite you to contribute by submitting presentations or
papers that can be
1) Discussion papers and presentations - The aim of the discussion
papers is to demonstrate a topic that is relevant practically in
family
business or / and entrepreneurship education, consulting, politics or
pedagogy. It can be written in the form of powerpoint presentation
(and
if needed, as a word document).
2) Research proposals (work in progress) - The aim of the research
proposal is to present ideas on family business training /
entrepreneurship education for the conference audience. Research
proposals can be written in the form of word documents. They are
discussed in small discussion groups. The aim of the research
proposals
is to test new ideas and gather some feedback for the research
projects.
3) Working papers (full papers) - The aim of working papers is to
analyze family business education/training/teaching and/or
entrepreneurship education theoretically or empirically. The research
working papers can be written in the form of powerpoint presentation
and
word document. All working papers will go through a double blind
review.
There is a possibility to publish the paper at the conference
proceedings and after the conference at the edition during 2009.
IMPORTANT DATES
April 15, 2008 Deadline for submissions
May 30, 2008 Review comments for submissions
July 30, 2008 Final deadline for revised submissions
July 30, 2008 Deadline for conference registration
Conference proceedings will be published at August 2008.
Registration for the conference will be available at the conference
website during December 2007.
