DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Management, International Business, & Entrepreneurship (MIBE) in Saunders College of Business (SCB) invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in the area of Technology and Innovation Management starting in August 2018. The position is open to assistant and associate professors, with appointment rank contingent on qualifications. A doctoral degree (or one expected before the position starts) from an AACSB or equivalent accredited university in an appropriate discipline (technology and innovation management, strategy, or operations management) is required. The selected candidate will teach and conduct research in the area of technology and innovation management. Technology management research in the context of globalization, entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, or sustainability is a plus. Selected candidates must have the potential to conduct and publish in top journals in the field. Teaching responsibilities will include technology management and/or project management courses.
THE COLLEGE/ DEPARTMENT:
The MIBE Department has a strong commitment to a high level of research and teaching. The department comprises the area of management, international business, and entrepreneurship and has a very collegial and supportive culture. Faculty members are actively engaged in research and have published in leading journals, such as the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of Operations Management, Management Science, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Decision Sciences, and Journal of Product Innovation Management.

REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates should have a doctorate degree or be in their final year of dissertation research with completion expected before the position start date.
● A doctorate degree (or one expected before the position starts) in technology and innovation management, strategic management, operations management, or another relevant area from an AACSB or equivalent accredited university.
● Ability to conduct research in technology and innovation management or related areas.
● Teaching interests in the areas of technology management and/or project management.
● Ability to contribute in meaningful ways to the college's continuing commitment to cultural diversity, pluralism, and individual differences.
