    Tenure-track/Visiting Position in Entrepreneurship

     

    The Robert G. Merrick School of Business of the University of Baltimore invites applications for a tenure-track/visiting position, open-rank, to teach entrepreneurship and related courses beginning Spring or Fall 2018. Preference will be given to those who have related experience in entrepreneurship. This appointment may be for either a visiting or tenure-track position depending on qualifications and is subject to final budget approval by the President of the university.

    The Merrick School of Business is accredited by AACSB International and enrolls approximately 1700 students in its seven undergraduate and graduate programs, of which approximately 550 are graduate students.  The University of Baltimore is part of the University System of Maryland and has four academic units: Merrick School of Business, School of Law, Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Public Affairs.

    Qualifications:

    Preference will be given to candidates with a doctoral degree from a university accredited by AACSB International and demonstrated, relevant teaching ability. Recent Ph.D.'s and ABDs must demonstrate potential for research productivity and doctorally qualified applicants are expected to display an established research record with peer-reviewed journals in entrepreneurship, innovation management and related fields. Full-time Merrick School of Business faculty members are expected to teach online and at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.

     

    Salary:

    Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.
