Tony Mendes and his crew (Kim Sugden, et al.) put on quite a nice, intimate, and productive conference last weekend in Chicago for the new WUN group. Check out www.wunchicago.org for more.

There are some names there who'll be new to you, but were great to meet. I think I even made a couple of friends! Also a chance for some of familiar faces to shine as well (Dianne Welsh, Ayman T & others). As you might imagine, the hallway chats were terrific. Tons of new stuff on social entrepreneurship & economic development, so I was particularly jazzed!

Please do check out www.wunchicago.org - and especially for those of you in Europe, they have "round 2" in Leeds this December.

When you scan the agenda, you'll see some cool presentations to send for!

p.s. Also, it was cool to see the progress being made at a couple of the "Kauffman Campuses": entrepreneurship in music ed, languages and Asian studies? I found myself wanting to take FIU's Asian Studies/ENT class & Illinois's music ed/ENT class!
