The teaching load is five courses per academic year in the undergraduate and graduate programs. Our dynamic, integrated undergraduate, Top 25 ranked entrepreneurship curriculum prepares students to launch their own businesses upon graduation. We teach that entrepreneurs take action and make a difference. As such, the entrepreneurship major teaches students to recognize opportunities, identify legal and financial mechanisms to create business ventures that can seize on these opportunities, and create business plans and pitches for seeking funding and launching these ventures. In addition, we provide an internship where students must deal with the challenges of business start-ups. Through these courses, students build on their core skills/knowledge of marketing, finance, accounting, operations, and human resources management. By carefully selecting free elective courses, students can further develop their personal interests in marketing, accounting, finance, etc. Moreover, students can tailor their experiences to focus in family business, internet business, or international business. Our graduate program offers an entrepreneurship concentration following a similar path as our undergraduate programs, including off-campus and online programs.  Our graduate program also provides students with the opportunity of starting a new venture, or developing an entrepreneurial thought process through existing organizations. Our strong, balanced academic and professional faculty help compliment our strong curriculum with a practical, exciting and vibrant classroom experience.
