    Faculty of Economics and Business Administration – a half-time (50%)
    vacancy as Professor in the rank of Lecturer (docent) or Professor in the
    rank of Senior Lecturer (hoofddocent) in the field of Entrepreneurship.



    The faculty of Economics and Business Administration has a vacancy for a
    professorship, starting from February 1, 2008. It concerns a position as a
    half-time (50 %) Professor in the rank of Lecturer (docent) or Professor
    in the rank of Senior Lecturer (hoofddocent) in the Department of
    Management and Entrepreneurship, charged with academic teaching in Dutch,
    scientific research and carrying out scientific duties in the field of
    Entrepreneurship.



    Profile:

    · on the day of application, candidates should hold a PhD degree
    with doctoral thesis in economic sciences or applied economics sciences
    (business administration) or a degree recognized as equivalent;

    · candidates are required to have research experience in the field
    of study concerned, proved by recent publications in national and
    international peer reviewed journals;

    · giving presentations on international conferences and organizing
    international conferences, would be an advantage;

    · experience in international mobility, amongst others through
    participation in research programs at research institutions not linked to
    the university where the highest degree was obtained, would be an
    advantage;

    · candidates are required to possess the necessary didactic,
    organizational and communicative skills for teaching at an academic level
    on the graduate and undergraduate level and in post experience programs.

    In principle this part-time position (50%) will lead to a tenured
    position, or to an appointment for a clearly defined renewable period.



    Depending on the specific profile of the selected candidate, the degree of
    Professor in the rank of Senior Lecturer or Professor in the rank of
    Lecturer will be granted.
