A reminder that the Kauffman Foundation has an intriguing RFP for "uncommon" metrics for entrep ecosystems. If you check the FB Live at
http://rfp.kauffman.org/res/p/uncommonmethodsandmetrics/ you'll see that some good ideas are showing up.
Kauffman seems particularly interested in ideas originating with people who are in that world. However, some of them are likely to need research skills and/or a fiscal agent. (I can't imagine they'll go for a proposal from scholars who aren't personally a deep participant in their own local ecosystem - but you could be useful to someone who is??)
Also, if you're not in the USA you will need to partner with someone US-based but don't let that stop you if you have a great idea (as long as it isn't better than mine, LOL) or relevant skills.
