    Posted 06-08-2017 15:33

    Hello Colleague,

I would like to invite you to attend the Western Academy of Management (WAM) Conference to be held in Salt Lake City, Utah from March 7-10th, 2018.  The conference will be held at the Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel.

The paper submission site will open on September 11th, 2017, and the deadline for submitting papers is October 2nd, 2017.

The theme for the conference is 'Resilience and Transformation.' We live and work in a time of frequent change, diverse crises, globalization, technological innovations, increased diversity, and political and social unrest.  To be effective in such an environment, individuals and organizations will need to be resilient, undergo transformation, and be transformative and catalysts for positive change.

The program will include: traditional and developmental paper sessions; a Fireside Chat with our 2018 Journal of Management Inquiry (JMI) Scholars - Dr. Jane E. Dutton (University of Michigan) and Dr. Nandini Rajagopalan (University of Southern California); and Doctoral and Junior Faculty Consortiums.  There will also be a one day Case Writer's Conference for those who are interested.

More information about the conference will be posted at wamonline.org this summer.  We look forward to welcoming you in Salt Lake City for WAM 2018!

Please contact me if you have questions.

    Best,

    Sarah Kovoor-Misra, Ph.D.

    President-Elect and Program Chair
