Samford University's Brock School of Business invites individuals interested in serving in a Christian university environment to submit applications for the position of assistant or associate professor in management. This full-time tenure-track faculty position is a nine-month appointment that will begin in August 2018.
Applicants for this position must exhibit strong teaching skills with a commitment to research and service. Qualified candidates will hold an earned doctorate from an AACSB-accredited business school in strategic management, entrepreneurship, management, human resources management, business administration or a closely related discipline. ABDs near completion in one of these fields will also be considered. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research backgrounds in strategy and entrepreneurship.
Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Interviews will be scheduled at the Academy of Management annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia, in August 2017.
