I will add to your sidebar, Jerry – that those of us in graduate education with aged 23+ students can also make the same legitimate claim, I certainly make it.
However, to Karl's point – we are often funded and supported by actors who believe we deliver results (e.g. more 'entrepreneurship', however that is measured).
I think our collective lack of interest in accountability is scandalous.

Was emailing with Karl Vesper today (upcoming AOM meetings cause such things to happen), and he was asking me about evaluations of entrepreneurship courses and programs in the USA. I mentioned the EU's efforts, but he was asking if any North American colleges, universities, or foundations evaluate entrepreneurship classes or programs. He was wondering about the impact of entrepreneurship education on firm creation in particular, and he was also curious about outcomes for entrepreneurship faculty as well as students. While a Google Scholar search shows a number of studies, US-based ones seem to be in the minority, and ones using firm creation are not obvious.
Seems like a good question for the list.
[Sidebar: I'm less of a hard-ass on this subject than Karl. Most of us are in the business of liberal arts education, even those of us in business schools. I personally see helping a 20-year-old figure out what they do and don't want to do is a net good thing. If they look honestly at entrepreneurship and figure it's not for them, then that is time well spent. If this helps them learn how to think about life, or themselves, or what's important, then that's a big win in its own right. But when Karl asks a question, life has taught me it usually deserves a good answer, hence the above request of the list.]
Thanks to all of you in advance. Sorry to intrude on summer.
