    Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio, an AACSB accredited Jesuit/Catholic University, invites applications for a tenure track position in Management at the Assistant Professor rank in the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship at the Williams College of Business.

    The position, beginning in January or August of 2018, entails teaching at the undergraduate and graduate (MBA and Executive MBA) levels in the field of Management, with preference given to those who have a secondary field commensurate with our department domains. With close ties to Cincinnati's business community, our Department provides education, training, and real-life business experiences to undergraduate, MBA and Executive MBA students in face-to-face and online formats. Experiential-based teaching is valued as class sizes are typically less than 30 students.

    Xavier faculty are expected to be excellent and innovative teachers and active scholars engaging in individual and collaborative research activity leading to publication in quality outlets, and who will make positive contributions as a colleague to the department, college, university and community. Therefore, we are looking for candidates with demonstrated accomplishments and/or strong potential in teaching and scholarship, and also as contributors to university life. Candidates must hold a PhD degree in Management or a closely related field, or have the firm expectation of completing their PhD prior to starting at Xavier. The ideal candidate will also have practical business experience. Salary will be competitive.
